High Frequency What?
High frequency training also known as HFT in advanced lifters vocabulary is a training style that pushes your muscles to the max to stimulate new muscle growth while not stunting them to overtraining. The perfect timeframe for a HFT routine is about 3 weeks with the muscle building workouts being very focused and diverse in order to maximise the 3 week window of adaptation.
Chad Waterbury Understands HFT to Build Muscle Quick
The high frequency training system that I use is by Chad Waterbury 1 of the most innovative up and coming trainers I’ve ever studied under. He is also the director of strength plus conditioning at Rickson Gracie Int. Jiu Jitsu Center in L.A. and has a master’s degree in physiology from the University of Arizona so this guy knows his stuff. He also is a big proponent of Bodyweight Exercises for fast fat loss. He’s all about performance and getting REAL results which you can track and see in the mirror. That is really what it’s all about is not it?
Chad has successfully created many muscle building workouts which are top notch and I even have put many to the test. My favorite are his two high frequency training programs that he includes in his ten 10 Transformation.
So What is the Secret to Build Muscle Fast?
The key is to train more for brief bursts of three weeks. This includes working each muscle group five times per week. That may seem like a lot but once you understand how the programs are broken down into using different intensity levels, rep ranges, sets, rest intervals, weight, plus movement patterns you will quickly discover that the muscles plus joints are being worked completely differently every day. This permits for various pathways to recover whereas others are getting hit hard again. It’s not something you are doing straight out for months. This can purely be done for 3 weeks and then you have to shift training to lower frequency for at least three weeks.
