It’s not really that easy, is it?
Given the abundance of “muscle building gurus” (all with different “breakthrough” techniques and theories, endless articles, and debates) that claim to know how to gain muscle mass quickly….
Is it possible for it to simply be ONE ultimate truth?
It’s true that when you want to create an effective muscle building workout plan, jthere are tons of tiny details that have to be considered… If you REALLY want to gain muscle mass quickly, all you need to do is to add more weights to your workouts consistently.
All you need are the basic compound exercises like squats, dead lifts, rows, bench presses, chin-ups, overhead presses, and dips, and keep increasing the weights you use as fast as possible… and you will realize that you can gain muscle mass quickly with this technique ALONE.
If you have a proper nutrition plan in place and can commit to adding 125 pounds to your squat, 150 pounds to your dead lift, and 100 to your bench press, you’ll gain muscle mass quickly—coming out thicker, bigger, and more muscular than you’ve ever been.
But “they” would prefer to keep this a secret….
The “experts” don’t want you to know that working with heavier weights is the key if you want to gain muscle mass quickly. Perhaps they don’t know it themselves, but it’s more likely that they want to sell you a gimmicky, so called “revolutionary discovery” so that they can line their pockets with more money.
They want to see you swirl around the gym like a ballerina…. balancing your ass on a Swiss ball… wasting time on exercises that are just ridiculous…. doing supersets from lift to lift… “experiencing the burn”… concentrating on isolation movements… and making sure that you get caught up in all sorts of wasteful methods supposedly designed to help you gain muscle mass quickly, instead of just putting your time into the core techniques that are a part of any good, structured bodybuilding program ….
And the core technique is to continually progress in terms of weights and reps.
That’s the way it has always worked and always will.
At the end of the, it’s easy to gain muscle mass quickly if you….
1) Stimulate your muscles and create an adaptive response, by training with basic compound exercises.
2) Allow time for recovery.
3) Repeat, but this time add a bit more resistance or increase your reps.
The best way to gain muscle mass quickly is to return to the gym ready to work harder than you did the week before so that you continually become stronger. You will find it hard to gain muscle quickly if you let your strength stagnate and don’t grow stronger from week to week. This is not brain-surgery.
Think about this….
When was the last time that you saw a person with skinny legs do 400 pound squats?
What are the chances that the person dead lifting 500 pounds in the gym has unimpressive shoulder and back muscles?
How often do you see a lifter with little or no development in his chest or triceps bench press 300 pounds?
Not often.
Why?
The fact is, size and strength go hand in hand, so the guy moving the largest amount of weight with proper form will almost always be the biggest guy at the gym (if he has a good nutrition plan).
It’s that easy.
Agreed there are many small details that should be a part of your plan to gain muscle mass quickly… but in order to build a strong foundation, you should always be striving to lift heavier weights during your workouts at the gym.
If you’re all about hype and trends, then go right ahead and check out all of the latest “breakthrough” workout plans that are illogically slammed together by some dude who claims to be an “expert” ….
When you are really ready to gain muscle mass quickly with serious, explosive, no B.S muscle building, then get back to basics.
Start with the basic compound exercises, and believe me they’re not easy… carry out these movements with full intensity… each week, log down exactly what you do… and if you can add additional weight plus do more reps, you are on the road to “beating the book” every week, which is what you need to focus on.
You will get the powerful and muscular body you always wanted, plus gain muscle mass quickly if you incorporate this technique from workout to workout.
